Purchase pie crust or pre-cook and allow to cool. Clean 4 cups of strawberries, cut into bite-sized pieces and arrange in pie crust. Clean and crush ½ cup of strawberries and add to pan with Original Chai. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium and cook 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. In a separate bowl, combine sugar and cornstarch and mix well.
Strain juice from cooked strawberries into sugar mixture and mix well. Return to saucepan. Cook until clear and thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Cool slightly. Spoon over strawberries. Serve immediately. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
