Pour Original Chai into a 4-quart saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat. Gently add pears to liquid. To ensure pears stay immersed in the liquid, place a lid that is smaller than the pot on top of pears to hold them down. Cook on a low boil until liquid has reduced by half and pears are soft.
Remove from heat and cool in liquid. To serve, spoon pears into a dish along with some poaching liquid.
