Chai Apple Crisp
Ingredients
Peeled, chopped apples | 6 cups |
Oregon Chai The Original Chai Tea Latte Powdered Mix - Canister |
1 .8 oz. |
Water | 1 tablespoon |
Oats | 1 cup |
Flour | 3/4 cup |
Packed brown sugar | 3/4 cup |
Softened margerine | 1/2 |
Directions
Heat oven to 375° Fahrenheit. In a medium bowl, place cut apples and sprinkle with water and 1 ½ teaspoons Oregon Chai® and stir together. Place apples in an 8×8 pan or round pie dish. Place margarine in the bowl and stir in remaining Oregon Chai. Add oats, flour and brown sugar; stir until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake until golden brown and apples are tender, about 25-30 minutes. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
