In 1991, our founder headed for the Himalayas in search of something to metaphorically fill her
cup. While she was there, her cup was filled, literally, with a rich, creamy, spiced tea. With chai.
She came home and dedicated three years to perfecting her own interpretation of this delectable drink
and dubbed it Oregon Chai. To this day we remain true to our founder's Oregonian roots. Our chai tea
lattes contain clove, cardamom, cinnamon and ginger to give you the warm, spiced chai flavor you love.
We source natural ingredients from farms and plantations where organic
agriculturists foster recyclable resources and promote ecological balance. Almost all
Oregon Chai concentrates are certified USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project verified.
Oregon Chai powdered mix cartons are recyclable in every state in the United
States, and our canister packaging is frequently recyclable as a metal. Our chai
tea latte concentrates are packaged in lightweight beverage cartons which can be
recycled in 67.1 million households across the United States.
Oregon Chai concentrate has 94% product and only
6% packaging. All packaging is made with responsibly
sourced materials — over 50% of which are recyclable.
Our paper only comes from growing forests where
trees are replaced and biodiversity is maintained.
