Sugar Cookies Chai



In a large bowl, combine 1-cup butter, sugar, egg, 3 Tbsp. Oregon Chai concentrate. Beat until creamy. Add flour and baking powder and beat until well blended. Divide the dough into two pieces, cover and refrigerate until firm (2-3 hours or overnight.) Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to ¼ inch thick. Cut with cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 6-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely. Make frosting by blending powdered sugar, 1/3-cup butter and 1 Tbsp. Oregon Chai concentrate. Beat, adding more Oregon Chai concentrate until desired consistency. Frost cooled cookies. Makes 6 dozen cookies.
